United Way of Beaumont and North Jefferson County is thrilled to announce the first ever Raise Your Voice 409 fundraising event! This virtual singing competition will spotlight the LOCAL musical talent that is abounding right here in Southeast Texas.
The Grand Prize winner will receive $2,000, and the Runner-Up will receive $500.
The top vote-getters for each round will be based on the number of votes in the United Way fundraiser. Each vote is worth $1, and all funds raised are invested right back into our LOCAL community!
All proceeds will benefit 36 critical health and human service programs of United Way’s 20 local non-profit partner agencies (a full list of benefitting agencies can be found here: www.uwbmt.org/partners).
Potential contestants:
The field of contestants will be limited to 32 total individuals and/or bands, which will be selected by a committee from all final entries. Contest will pair eight individuals/bands against one another each week with the top vote getters advancing to the next round.
This format will continue until the final round.
Please read over the Contestant Rules & Guidelines form attached below, and submit your entry via e-mail with all required materials.
Submissions will be accepted through Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 8 p.m.
The competition will go LIVE on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 6 p.m.
